Principal's Message

Welcome to our new website! Pomona Catholic families are deserving of this 21st century technology. We will utilize this website as a main source of communication. It will be updated on a regular basis. Be sure to visit often to learn of the exciting activities at Pomona Catholic.

Thank you for welcoming me so warmly into the Pomona Catholic High School community as your principal. Thank you for entrusting your daughters to Catholic education at Pomona Catholic High School. It is my privilege to serve the community surrounding the Pomona Valley. Our loyal faculty is committed to the success of our students. On behalf of the entire Pacer community, welcome to halls of Pomona Catholic High School.

On behalf of the Pomona Catholic community, I extend a special welcome to our new families and students as you begin your journey. To our returning students and families who share in our mission to provide the best possible educational experience in the Pomona Valley, thank you for your support. Here at Pomona Catholic High School we stand firm in the commitment to Catholic education with a passion for excellence in the spiritual, physical, social, and academic aspects to prepare our students for the global world. And, “When we educate a woman…we educate a generation.”

Our family here at Pomona Catholic extends beyond the walls and grounds of Pomona Catholic to parents, grandparents, and alumnae. As we strive to fulfill our mission, each part of our families plays a very important role. Together, we will work to inspire a strong sense of Christian morals and values, along with a solid academic foundation.

Change is a necessary part of life. Here at Pomona Catholic the halls have changed in appearance and sound. As school opens this year, it marks the beginning of Pomona Catholic Middle School. We have prepared classrooms and spaces needed to receive our new students. Mrs. Adela Solis, Principal of Pomona Catholic Middle School and I have been preparing and strategizing for the new configuration. This innovative step will strengthen Catholic education in Pomona. The idea of four schools two campuses is a great way to create a path for Catholic education. The new early childhood program will be the new entry for our students. It is our belief that these students will continue in Catholic education through high school graduation.

We proudly open this school year and hope that our parents will get involved as we make every effort to provide the best learning environment and atmosphere. As the year unfolds, do not hesitate to drop in and see how we are building the kingdom of God. My staff and I are always available to meet with you. The potential of Pomona Catholic High School is unfolding. I have many dreams and visions of what Pomona Catholic will be in the future. I invite you to walk with me in faith as the potential of Pomona Catholic unfolds.

Peace and God’s Blessings,
Samuel Torres
